Wowphie collects only the information needed to run your account and provide the service: your contact details, your pets' profiles, and the bookings, messages and payments you create on the platform.

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your personal information, and we only share it with the service providers you choose to book with, to the extent needed to deliver that booking.

Search and personalized results. When you run a search we record what you searched for, roughly where, how many results came back and which one you opened. We use that to order later results around the pets, places and services you actually use — it is never sold and never shared with providers. Searches made before you sign in are not tied to you or your device, and are never attached to your account when you sign in.

You can turn personalized results off at any time under Account settings → Personalized results. Explore and the order of search results then use Wowphie's defaults instead of your searches, and the profile built from them is deleted. Your searches are still saved to your account, and search keeps working exactly as before. The underlying search records are deleted after 12 months in any case, and immediately if you delete your account.

You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it, at any time by emailing hello@wowphie.com.

By creating a Wowphie account you agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully: keep your account details accurate, only list services you genuinely provide, and treat other members of the community fairly.

Bookings made through Wowphie are agreements between pet owners and service providers. Wowphie facilitates the introduction, scheduling, messaging and payment, but each provider remains responsible for the services they deliver.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we make material changes we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.

Wowphie uses a small number of cookies that are essential for the platform to work: keeping you signed in securely and protecting forms against misuse.

We also use limited analytics to understand how the product is used so we can improve it. These measurements are aggregated and are not used to track you across other websites.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential cookies will mean you cannot stay signed in.

You can delete your Wowphie account from inside the app or on the web: sign in, open Account, and choose Delete account. Deletion starts a 30-day cooling-off period during which you can sign back in and cancel; after that your profile, contact details, pets and messages are removed and your login stops working.

Deleting the account closes every account you own on Wowphie, including any business you run through it. Before it can be scheduled, live bookings must be completed or cancelled, outstanding payments and payouts settled, open disputes resolved and team members removed. The app lists exactly what is still outstanding.

Some records are kept after deletion where the law requires it: invoices, payment and payout records, tax details and dispute outcomes are retained for the statutory accounting period, with your personal details removed from them wherever possible.
